Micah is here!

Our baby boy is here! He was born Saturday morning at 2:30 am, weighing 6 lb, 5 oz. I have some pictures from the hospital, but they're on the laptop, so I will upload more soon. For now, here's a quick peek at our beautiful boy. We are definitely in love!

About Us

We are a typical family of 5 - two exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed parents, a precocious, inquisitive, feisty 7 year old girl whose IQ is way too high for her own good, a sweet, beautiful, easy going 3 year old boy who notices every detail of the world around him and wears an autism diagnosis like a champ, and a bright, silly, strong-willed toddler who does his best to demand his fair share of attention. We have some beautiful days together, we have some difficult days together. Sometimes I feel like a great parent and the best wife ever. Sometimes I'm not so sure that I'm cut out for this parenting thing. Each day brings a new adventure, a new lesson, a new blessing, a new challenge. Someday we will look back and it will all make beautiful sense. But I'm pretty sure that day is not today.
